CSP Youth Orchestra Earns "Superior" at Orchestra Festival

The Community String Project Youth Orchestra, under the direction of Alicia Ruggiero, earned a rating of "Superior" at this year's RI Music Educator's Orchestra Festival held on April 1 at South Kingston High School.  Each year orchestras from across the state perform for adjudication at the RIMEA Festival, allowing the students to hear other orchestras and to get valid feedback for their work. Over the past three years of participation in this festival the youth orchestra has gone from an initial rating of "Good", to last year's rating of  "Excellent" and this year rating of "Superior".
