CSP Students Earn Awards at RIMEA Solo and Ensemble Festival

On May 19, Community String Project had 16 Youth Orchestra students participate in the RI Music Educator's Solo and Ensemble Festival held at RI College.  Each student prepared a solo or ensemble piece and performed for a professional teacher/musician for assessment.  The following students earned either and "Excellent" or "Superior" rating for their performance:  Maya Lavey, Olivia Morrissette, Victoria Matias, Norah Gordon, Amelia Oliveira, Brian Conway, Grace Mole, Jackson Harney, Claudia Green, Sabella Matheson, Iris Petrillo, Edda Petrillo, Lucien Chidester, Zelda Hayes, Mikayla Ricks and Aiden Enes.
